× Rhodoxis ‘Fairy Snow’ Description

× Rhodoxis ‘Fairy Snow’ is a small perennial with an unusually generous display of crisp white flowers. The relatively large, star-shaped blooms appear from late May and continue into early autumn, often covering much of the fine green foliage beneath them. Reaching around 15cm tall and 25cm wide, it fits neatly into pots, troughs, raised beds and open rock gardens without overwhelming neighbouring plants. Full sun encourages the strongest flowering, while sharply drained soil is essential for keeping the plant healthy. Feed container-grown plants during active growth and avoid leaving the roots in wet compost over winter. Move pots into a protected position where prolonged frost is expected.
