× Rhodoxis ‘Fairy Kisses’ Description

From late spring into early autumn, × Rhodoxis ‘Fairy Kisses’ produces a succession of white flowers with broad pink edges and small yellow centres. The brightly coloured blooms rise above a neat mound of slender, grass-like foliage and provide a long display without occupying much space. Growing to approximately 15cm high and 25cm wide, it is well suited to patio pots, alpine troughs, raised beds and open rock gardens. Choose a position in full sun and provide sharply drained soil, as the plant dislikes wet conditions while dormant in winter. Regular feeding during active growth can encourage continued flowering. Protect it from prolonged severe frost, particularly when grown in a container.
