Hebe ‘Pink Candy’ Description

Hebe ‘Pink Candy’ forms a compact, bushy evergreen shrub with small glossy green leaves and a naturally tidy outline. Spikes of pink flowers are produced during summer and may continue into early autumn when conditions remain mild, attracting bees and other pollinating insects. Mature plants generally reach around 50 to 70cm high and wide, making the cultivar easy to accommodate in small gardens, patio pots and the front of mixed borders. Grow in full sun or partial shade in moderately fertile soil that remains moist but drains freely. It tolerates coastal air but should be protected from severe frost and cold easterly winds. Lightly remove faded flower stems and trim the young growth after flowering to retain a dense rounded habit.
