Impatiens ‘Sol Luna Scarlet’ Description

Impatiens ‘Sol Luna Scarlet’ is an interspecific impatiens bred for vigorous growth, strong flowering and adaptability to a broad range of light conditions. Bright scarlet flowers are produced continuously above fresh green foliage through the warmer months. Plants form a well-branched mound suitable for patio containers, large baskets and seasonal bedding displays. Grow in sun or partial shade in fertile, moisture-retentive but freely draining soil or compost. Plants grown in stronger sun require particularly reliable watering, as the fleshy growth can wilt quickly when dry. Regular feeding encourages continuous flower production. It is frost tender and is normally treated as an annual outdoors in Ireland. Shelter from strong drying winds and remove damaged growth where necessary to maintain a fresh display.
