Hydrangea paniculata ‘Living Infinity’ Description

Hydrangea paniculata ‘Living Infinity’ is a compact deciduous shrub with sturdy reddish stems and dark green serrated foliage. Long-lasting conical flower heads open white before developing pink and eventually deep reddish-pink colouring later in summer. Mature plants generally remain around 80 to 90cm high and similarly wide, making them useful for patio containers, low hedges and smaller mixed borders. Grow in full sun or partial shade in fertile, moisture-retentive but well-drained soil. It is exceptionally hardy and well suited to Irish conditions. Good light encourages stronger red colouring as the flowers age. The shrub flowers on new wood, so prune in late winter or early spring to encourage a fresh framework of sturdy shoots and a generous summer display.
