Heuchera villosa ‘Carnival Cocomint’ Description

Heuchera villosa ‘Carnival Cocomint’ is a vigorous foliage perennial with broad, softly textured leaves in cool mint-green and silver shades, marked by darker veins. Its Heuchera villosa heritage gives it good tolerance of summer humidity and partial shade. Fine stems of small pale flowers may rise above the foliage in summer, although the leaves remain the main attraction. Mature plants generally reach around 30 to 40cm high and spread 40 to 50cm. Grow in partial shade in fertile, humus-rich soil that remains moisture-retentive but drains freely. It is hardy and well suited to Irish woodland borders and patio pots. Remove damaged leaves in spring and keep mulch away from the crown. Avoid prolonged winter saturation, particularly in heavy compacted soil.
