Helleborus ‘Moon Dance’ Description

Helleborus ‘Moon Dance’ forms a compact evergreen clump of leathery dark green leaves and produces elegant pale flowers from winter into early spring. The blooms open creamy white to ivory, sometimes developing subtle green or pink tints as they mature, and are held clearly above the foliage. Mature plants generally reach around 30 to 40cm high and wide. Grow in partial shade or gentle winter sun in fertile, humus-rich soil that remains moisture-retentive but drains freely. It is hardy and well suited to Irish woodland borders, shaded courtyards and seasonal containers. Remove damaged older foliage as flower buds emerge to improve the display and reduce leaf-spot problems. Avoid moving established plants unnecessarily. All parts of the plant are harmful if eaten.
