Hebe ‘Wiri Mist’ Description

Hebe ‘Wiri Mist’ is a bushy evergreen shrub producing glossy green foliage and numerous white flower spikes during summer. The clean flower colour makes it easy to combine with both bright and pastel planting, while bees and other pollinators make frequent use of the blooms. Mature plants can reach around 1 to 1.5 metres high and wide, so allow more room than for dwarf hebe cultivars. Grow in full sun or partial shade in moderately fertile, well-drained soil. It performs particularly well in mild and coastal gardens but benefits from shelter from hard frost and cold drying winds inland. Lightly shorten flowered shoots after the main display to encourage a dense shape. Avoid severe pruning into old bare branches.
