Geranium wallichianum ‘Kelly Anne’ Description

Geranium wallichianum ‘Kelly Anne’ is a long-flowering hardy geranium with trailing stems and deeply lobed green foliage. Large, vivid pink flowers are illuminated by clear white centres and marked with darker purple veins. The blooms open continuously from early or midsummer until autumn frost. Plants usually reach around 30 to 40cm high but can spread 60cm to 1 metre, weaving attractively between shrubs and sturdier perennials. Grow in full sun or partial shade in fertile, humus-rich soil that remains moist but drains freely. It is fully hardy and performs reliably in Ireland. Water during prolonged dry periods and trim back excessively long stems if they begin to cover smaller neighbours. Remove old growth in spring before new shoots emerge.
