Geranium ‘Bloom Me Away’ Description

Geranium ‘Bloom Me Away’ is a vigorous clump-forming hardy geranium with deeply divided green foliage and large, open violet-blue flowers marked by darker veins. The blooms are produced repeatedly from late spring or early summer into autumn, particularly when plants are trimmed after the first main display. Its broad, spreading growth makes it useful for filling gaps between shrubs, edging informal borders and softening the sides of large containers. Grow in full sun or partial shade in fertile, humus-rich soil that remains moist but drains freely. It is hardy and well suited to Irish gardens. Water during establishment and prolonged dry periods. Shear back tired stems and foliage in midsummer to encourage a fresh mound and renewed flowering.
