Fuchsia 'Riccartonii'
Fuchsia ‘Riccartonii’ is a robust, upright deciduous shrub growing up to 2m, with small dark green leaves sometimes bronzed. From summer into autumn, it produces dainty single flowers with crimson tubes and sepals paired with violet-purple petals. Medium to large in habit, it makes an excellent informal hedge in mild Irish gardens. With its RHS Award of Garden Merit and value for pollinators, it is both practical and ornamental.
