Foeniculum vulgare ‘Purpureum’
Bronze Fennel
Foeniculum vulgare ‘Purpureum’, known as bronze fennel, is an upright perennial with fine aromatic foliage that begins bronze-purple and matures grey-green. Yellow flower umbels appear in summer, followed by scented seed heads. Its tall, airy form adds both fragrance and colour contrast to cottage-style borders. Attractive to pollinators, it also provides stems for cutting.
