Euphorbia × martinii ‘Ascot Petite’ Description

Euphorbia × martinii ‘Ascot Petite’ is a compact evergreen spurge forming a rounded mound of narrow, dark green leaves that may develop bronze or reddish tones during cooler weather. Clusters of yellow-green flowers surrounded by showy lime bracts appear from spring into early summer and remain decorative for many weeks. Growing to approximately 40 to 50cm high and wide, it is well suited to patio pots, gravel gardens and the front of sunny borders. Plant in full sun or light partial shade in moderately fertile soil with excellent drainage. It tolerates dry conditions once established but dislikes saturated winter ground. Remove faded flowering stems at the base while wearing gloves. The milky sap can irritate skin and eyes, and all parts are harmful if eaten.
