Eriobotrya ‘Coppertone’, also known as Loquat ‘Coppertone’, is a large evergreen shrub with glossy leaves that emerge copper-red before deepening to green. In May and June, pale pink, fragrant flowers appear, adding a soft scent to sheltered gardens. Medium to large in size, it thrives in sunny, coastal Irish conditions, bringing year-round structure as well as seasonal flower interest.
