Dodonaea viscosa ‘Purpurea’
Hop Bush 'Purpurea'
Dodonaea viscosa ‘Purpurea’, also called Hop Bush ‘Purpurea’, is an evergreen shrub or small tree with striking reddish-purple leaves. In summer it produces small flowers followed by winged pinkish-red fruits, adding texture and movement. Large and bushy, with RHS Award of Garden Merit and drought resistance, it is excellent for mild Irish gardens seeking bold foliage colour.
