Cotoneaster atropurpureus ‘Variegatus’ is a small shrub with spreading branches and cream-edged leaves that flush red in autumn. Pink flowers in early summer are followed by red berries. Winner of the RHS Award of Garden Merit, it is a hardy, low-maintenance shrub for Irish gardens.
