Cornus Kousa 'Teutonia'
I hold the RHS | Award of Garden Merit
Cornus kousa ‘Teutonia’ forms a small bushy tree with large overlapping white bracts in midsummer, gradually spotted pink as they mature. Reddish-pink strawberry-like fruits follow in autumn, when the foliage also turns reddish-purple. It prefers fertile, humus-rich neutral to acidic soil and a sheltered position in sun or light shade.
✅ Large white bracts develop attractive pink markings
✅ Reddish-purple autumn foliage and pink fruit extend the display
✅ Excellent multi-season specimen for a sheltered garden
