Choisya × dewitteana ‘Little Bee’ Description

Choisya × dewitteana ‘Little Bee’ is a naturally compact Mexican orange blossom forming a dense evergreen mound around 45 to 50cm high and wide. Its narrow, divided leaves release a citrus-like fragrance when bruised, while clusters of white star-shaped flowers open in spring and may return later in summer. The restrained size makes it useful for small borders, low informal edging and patio containers. Grow in full sun or light partial shade in fertile, freely draining soil or compost. It is hardy in many Irish gardens, although a sheltered position and good winter drainage are important. Container plants should be watered during dry weather but never left standing in water. Little pruning is required beyond removing damaged growth.
