Chaenomeles × superba ‘Nicoline’
Japanese Quince 'Nicoline'
Japanese Quince ‘Nicoline’ is a small to medium shrub with glossy green leaves and clusters of scarlet flowers in mid-spring. Sometimes semi-double, the blooms cover bare stems before fruits develop, ripening to yellow by autumn. Carrying the RHS | Award of Garden Merit and lightly fragrant, it offers long seasonal interest. Many Irish gardeners turn to this variety for its reliable flowering and rich colour.
