Callicarpa bodinieri var. giraldii ‘Profusion’ grows upright with foliage that flushes purple when young, later turning rosy-pink in autumn. Small lilac flowers are followed by striking violet berries held in clusters along the stems. With the RHS Award of Garden Merit, good for cut flowers, and loved by pollinators, it is a dependable shrub for Irish wildlife-friendly planting.
