Callicarpa bodinieri ‘Profusion’ is an upright deciduous shrub grown chiefly for dense clusters of vivid violet-purple berries in autumn, but its foliage adds more than background colour, emerging purplish and turning rosy pink later in the year. Small lilac summer flowers precede the berries. It reaches around 3m and grows in sun or partial shade on well-drained soil.
