Calamagrostis brachytricha
Korean Feather Reed Grass
Calamagrostis brachytricha, the Korean Feather Reed Grass, forms clumps of arching green leaves that turn golden in autumn. From late summer into autumn, purple-tinged plumes rise above the foliage and persist into winter, adding movement and texture. Holder of the RHS Award of Garden Merit, this medium-sized grass is highly valued in Irish gardens for its long-lasting display.
