Agastache ‘Beelicious Purple’ Description

Agastache ‘Beelicious Purple’ forms a compact, bushy clump of aromatic dark green leaves topped with dense spikes of tubular lilac-blue flowers. The blooms continue from summer well into autumn, providing a long source of nectar and pollen for bees and other beneficial insects. Growing to approximately 60 to 80cm tall, it fits comfortably into sunny mixed borders, wildlife gardens, gravel planting and large containers. Plant it in full sun in fertile but freely draining soil and choose a position protected from strong winds. Once established it tolerates short dry periods, but heavy winter-wet ground should be avoided. Removing faded flower spikes encourages further blooms and helps maintain a tidy, upright shape.
