Agapanthus ‘Brilliant Blue’ Description

Agapanthus ‘Brilliant Blue’ is a compact, free-flowering perennial that produces loose rounded clusters of vivid sky-blue flowers during summer. Each trumpet-shaped bloom has a darker blue stripe through the centre of the petals, giving the flower heads additional definition. The stems rise to around 50cm above clumps of narrow green foliage, making this variety easy to place near the front of a border or in a medium to large container. Plant in full sun in fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Water and feed regularly while the plant is actively growing, but avoid waterlogged conditions during winter. In colder gardens, protect the crown with mulch and move containers to a sheltered position during severe frost.
