Norway Maple 'Globosum'
Acer platanoides ‘Globosum’ is grown for its naturally dense, rounded crown, giving a much more formal outline than the ordinary Norway maple. Green lobed leaves turn yellow in autumn, and yellow-green flowers appear in spring before winged fruits develop. Although often chosen for its compact-looking head, mature specimens can still form a broad tree around 8m high.
