Acer palmatum ‘Seiryū’ is a medium-sized, upright shrub with a columnar habit, growing 2.5–4m tall. Its light green leaves are finely divided and bring a soft texture to the garden, turning brilliant orange, yellow, and red in autumn. Small red flowers appear in April and May, extending its seasonal interest. Low maintenance and honoured with the RHS Award of Garden Merit, it is a standout maple for Irish gardeners.
