Japanese Maple 'Pixie'
Acer palmatum ‘Pixie’ is a slow-growing, upright tree that reaches around 2.5m tall. Its seven-lobed leaves open pink in spring, deepen to purple-red in summer, and finish with brilliant scarlet in autumn. Small green flowers appear in April and May, followed by red winged fruits. Compact and colourful, it is an excellent choice for containers and smaller Irish gardens.
