Japanese Maple 'Garnet'
I hold the RHS | Award of Garden Merit
Acer palmatum ‘Garnet’ combines a cascading outline with deeply dissected foliage that remains rich brownish-red through summer before brightening in autumn. More vigorous than many laceleaf maples, it can eventually reach around 4m high while staying narrower, making a distinctive specimen where there is enough room for its arching growth to develop.
✅ Deeply cut brownish-red foliage
✅ Cascading habit gives strong architectural form
✅ More vigorous than many laceleaf Japanese maples
(−20 to −15 °C) Very cold-hardy
