Acanthus mollis ‘Whitewater’
Bear's Breech 'Whitewater'
Acanthus ‘Whitewater’ is a bold herbaceous perennial reaching 1.5m tall and spreading up to 1m. In summer, tall stems rise above variegated dark green leaves splashed with white, carrying white funnel-shaped flowers with purple bracts. Recognised with the RHS Award of Garden Merit, it is drought tolerant and excellent for cut flowers. Its striking foliage and dramatic flower spikes make it a strong focal point for Irish borders and architectural planting schemes.
