Acacia pravissima, or ovens wattle, is an evergreen shrub reaching 2.5–4m tall with a spread of up to 2.5m. Flowering in March and April, it carries distinctive triangular foliage and masses of rich yellow blossoms that add spring brightness. Awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit, it thrives in full sun in sheltered Irish gardens.
