Why Are My Hosta Leaves Turning Yellow or Brown?
Yellowing or browning hosta leaves can mean several different things, from normal autumn die-back to sun scorch, drought, or virus. This guide helps you identify the cause and respond correctly.
Abies procera ‘Glauca’, the blue noble fir, is a tall, evergreen conifer admired for its pyramidal form and striking silver-blue foliage. Reaching heights of over 12m with a spread of 4–8m, it develops upright cones up to 20cm long, turning from blue to brown as they mature. Recognised with the RHS Award of Garden Merit, it combines ornamental colour with lasting strength in Irish gardens. Its distinctive needles and stately shape make it a standout feature in larger plantings.
