Hemerocallis ‘White Lemonade’ Description

Hemerocallis ‘White Lemonade’ is a clump-forming daylily producing large pale lemon to creamy-yellow flowers on upright stems above strap-shaped green leaves. The light flower colour gives the plant a softer appearance than stronger orange and red daylilies and works well in pastel or contemporary planting. Blooms appear in succession during summer, with mature plants generally reaching around 60 to 80cm high. Grow in full sun or light partial shade in fertile soil that remains consistently moist but drains freely. It is fully hardy and suitable for Irish gardens. Water during prolonged dry weather while buds are developing and remove finished flower stalks after the display. Divide established clumps every four or five years where flowering becomes less vigorous.
