Farfugium japonicum var. giganteum, the giant leopard plant, is a bold evergreen perennial grown for its large, glossy, kidney-shaped leaves, sometimes over 30cm across. In autumn, daisy-like yellow flowers appear above the foliage. Excellent for damp, shady borders, it creates lush, architectural ground cover while remaining generally disease-free.
