Eryngo 'Big Blue'
Eryngium × olivierianum ‘Big Blue’, often called sea holly ‘Big Blue’, makes a bold statement in gravel or coastal gardens. Its upright stems reach 75cm, topped with thimble-shaped blue flowerheads edged by spiky, silvery-blue bracts in midsummer. A clump-forming perennial, it thrives in well-drained soil and sun, gaining the RHS Award of Garden Merit, valued by pollinators and excellent as a long-lasting cut flower.
