Elaeagnus × submacrophylla ‘Compacta’
Oleaster 'Compacta'
Elaeagnus × ebbingei ‘Compacta’, or Oleaster ‘Compacta’, is a dense evergreen shrub with glossy green leaves carrying a silvery sheen. In autumn, it produces small scented white flowers that attract pollinators. Bushy and medium-sized, it is tolerant of coastal conditions, making it an excellent choice for hedging, screens, or low-maintenance planting in Irish gardens.
