Angel's Fishing Rod
Dierama pulcherrimum, angel’s fishing rod, sends slender arching stems above narrow grass-like foliage, carrying pendulous bell-shaped flowers in shades of pink to purple through summer. The movement of the flowering stems is its real charm, particularly beside paths, gravel or low planting. It prefers full sun and freely drained soil, with shelter from severe exposure.
