Dahlia ‘Karma Naomi’ Description

Dahlia ‘Karma Naomi’ is a tall, upright cultivar bred specifically for cut-flower production. Strong stems carry large, fully double flowers in deep mahogany-red, wine or rich fuchsia-red shades from midsummer until the first autumn frost. The blooms can reach around 14cm across and have a good vase life when cut as they begin to open. Mature plants grow to approximately 90cm and may require discreet support in exposed positions. Plant in full sun in rich, moisture-retentive but well-drained soil. Water and feed regularly and pick or deadhead flowers frequently to maintain production. In Ireland, lift the tubers after frost or protect them in exceptionally mild, freely drained gardens with a deep dry mulch.
