Dahlia ‘Hypnotica Lemon Swirl’ forms a strong, bushy plant with serrated dark green foliage and upright stems. Large, fully double flowers open in a bright combination of lemon yellow and white, creating a fresh two-tone display from early summer until the first frost. Growing to around 40 to 50cm, it is compact enough for containers while still providing substantial blooms for border fronts and seasonal displays. Plant in full sun in fertile, moist but freely draining soil or compost. Regular watering, feeding and deadheading will maintain continuous flowering. This dahlia is frost tender in Ireland. Move pots under protection or lift and store the tubers in a dry, frost-free place after autumn cold blackens the foliage.
