Crataegus × media ‘Paul’s Scarlet’ is a rounded deciduous hawthorn producing fully double light red flowers in spring, giving a much fuller display than the single-flowered common hawthorn. Orange-red berries follow in autumn among glossy lobed leaves. Very hardy and adaptable, it makes a reliable ornamental tree for larger gardens and exposed sites.
