Cortaderia selloana ‘Pumila’ is a compact pampas grass, forming a dense evergreen clump of narrow arching leaves with silky creamy-white plumes rising to around 1.2m in late summer. Much smaller than the species, it gives strong architectural form without overwhelming a border and suits full sun on fertile, freely drained soil.
