Cornus kousa ‘Miss Satomi’ is a medium-sized tree with ovate leaves that turn purple-red in autumn. In late spring, deep pink bracts surround small flower clusters, followed by strawberry-like rosy fruits. Holder of the RHS Award of Garden Merit, it is a much-loved ornamental dogwood that thrives in Irish borders and gardens.
