Cistus × pulverulentus ‘Sunset’
Rock Rose 'Sunset'
Purple-Flowered Rock Rose is a bushy evergreen that produces large purplish-pink flowers in early summer, each bloom marked with a bold red blotch. Compact and long-flowering, it thrives in free-draining soil and sunny spots. It has the RHS Award of Garden Merit and is drought tolerant, making it ideal for low-maintenance planting. Many Irish gardeners plant it where a strong summer show is needed with minimal care.
