I hold the RHS | Award of Garden Merit
Cistus × corbariensis is a dense evergreen rock rose, usually around 1m high, with wavy, slightly wrinkled green leaves and masses of white flowers opening from reddish buds in summer. Each bloom is short-lived, but new flowers keep appearing over a long period. It is happiest in full sun on poor to moderately fertile, sharply drained soil.
✅ White summer flowers open freely from red-tinted buds
✅ Dense evergreen habit suits dry sunny borders
⚠️ Needs shelter and dislikes cold, wet winter ground
(−10 to −5 °C) Hardy in most of Ireland
