Aster novi-belgii ‘Starletta Mix’ Description

Aster novi-belgii ‘Starletta Mix’ is a compact mixture of New York asters selected for their tidy growth and generous late-season flowering. The individual plants produce masses of daisy flowers in varying shades of blue, purple, pink and white, each with a contrasting yellow centre. Colours will vary from plant to plant because this is supplied as a mix. Growing to approximately 25 to 35cm, it works well in patio pots, window boxes and at the front of autumn borders. Grow in full sun or light shade in fertile soil that retains moisture during summer but drains well in winter. Water containers regularly, remove faded flowers to prolong the display and cut the stems back after flowering.
