Pheasant's Tail Grass
Anemanthele lessoniana, known as Pheasant’s Tail Grass, is a semi-evergreen grass forming elegant clumps of narrow arching leaves that glow with tints of orange and red in summer and autumn. In late summer it produces airy sprays of red-brown flowers that catch the light beautifully. Medium in size with a bushy habit, it holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit for reliability. A graceful choice for Irish borders, gravel gardens, or as a feature plant.
