Heucherella ‘Art Nouveau’ Description

Heucherella ‘Art Nouveau’ forms a neat mound of deeply lobed leaves marked with contrasting darker colouring through the centre and veins. Depending on season, the foliage can combine green, bronze, silver and burgundy tones, giving the plant changing interest throughout the year. Fine upright flower stems carry small pale blooms during spring and early summer. Mature plants generally reach around 20 to 30cm high and spread approximately 40cm. Grow in partial shade or dappled light in fertile, humus-rich soil that remains moisture-retentive but drains freely. It is fully hardy and performs well in Irish woodland-style borders and containers. Avoid saturated winter soil and keep the crown uncovered when mulching. Remove tired leaves in spring to reveal fresh growth.
